Introduction

Teens for Teens Kenya is a vibrant, youth-driven NGO dedicated to fostering environmental conservation and sustainable agricultural practices among young people, particularly high school students. Established with a vision to inspire meaningful action toward mitigating climate change, our organization serves as a beacon of hope for a greener and more sustainable Kenya. We believe that the youth, being the torchbearers of the future, have an unparalleled capacity to drive positive change when equipped with the right tools, knowledge, and motivation.

   Our Mission: Why We Were Formed

Our main objective is to empower young people through Agriculture by providing quality chicks and impacting skills to the teens on how to conserve the environment by providing quality seedlings; that is to ensure that they know how to nurture a tree from its seedling state to maturity. Our formation was motivated by the urgent need to address the growing environmental challenges and food insecurity exacerbated by climate change. Recognizing the untapped potential of youth to contribute meaningfully to these causes, we aim to empower them through education, resources, and hands-on initiatives. By nurturing a generation of environmentally conscious and agriculturally skilled individuals, we aspire to build a resilient society prepared to tackle the climate crisis head-on.

  Our Current Activities

  Environmental Conservation:

Teens for Teens Kenya is actively involved in distributing free tree seedlings to schools and communities. This initiative not only combats deforestation but also instills a sense of responsibility in young people to care for their environment.

  Agricultural Empowerment:

We provide quality chicks to high school students and offer comprehensive training on proper poultry care. This program empowers students, individuals, and communities to practice sustainable farming, enhance their livelihoods, and contribute to food security.

  Climate Change Advocacy:

Through educational workshops and motivational campaigns, our organization inspires youth and communities to take proactive steps in mitigating the effects of climate change.
